We Continue to Support Areas Affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake

We pray for all of those who lost their lives in the Great East Japan Earthquake, and offer our heartfelt condolences to all of those affected by the disaster.

Until now we have operated under the basic thinking of answering requests for assistance from affected municipalities and working with them and aid groups to take the necessary emergency measures.

Immediately after the earthquake Osaka dispatched medical and disaster relief teams, nurses, fire brigades, and supplies to the affected areas.

The Kansai Union and Osaka Prefecture pledge our continuing efforts to aid in the support and restoration of areas affected by this disaster.

We are grateful for the generous donations and offers of volunteer assistance that are being received from the people of Osaka. City Hall and the ward offices are accepting donations that will quickly render the goodwill of the citizens of Osaka to those in need.
