  • We Continue to Support Areas Affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake

We are accepting donations for the Great East Japan Earthquake.

We continue to pray for all those who lost their lives in the Great East Japan Earthquake, and offer our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the disaster.

Until now, we have operated under the basic idea of mutual cooperation by responding to requests from disaster-affected municipalities, and have offered support for the smooth implementation of emergency measures in affected municipalities. Immediately after the earthquake, Osaka dispatched medical and disaster relief teams, nurses, and fire brigades, and sent supplies, such as drinking water, food, and daily necessities, to the affected areas. The City of Osaka and the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry have been working together to provide apartments in municipal housing for victims of the disaster, and have established a special consultation service for small- and medium-sized companies that have been affected by the disaster, as they work together to provide various types of information services to those affected by the disaster. The Kansai Union and Osaka Prefecture have pledged their continuing efforts to aid in the future support and restoration of areas affected by the disaster.

The donations we receive as follows are being delivered to those who have been affected by the disaster through the Japanese Red Cross Society.
