An ancient dugout was found here during the construction of connecting Nambashinkawa with Itachigawa in the 11th year of Meiji(1878).
It was made of camphor trees, about 8m in length and about 1.2m in width.
It was thought to be made about 6th century and had been preserved near the Osaka Castle tower but was burned to ashes by the War.
