Childcare Program for Sick and Convalescent Children

Outline

A day service is available for children who are convalescing and cannot go to day-care centers or who cannot be cared for at home due to parents’ work commitments. Some facilities may take care of children who have not yet fully recovered.

Eligibility

Preschoolers who live in Osaka City
(Some facilities may take care of children up to the sixth grade of elementary school.)

Fee (Daily)

Households on welfare/municipal tax-exempt households: Free of charge
Income tax-exempt households: 1,200 yen (600 yen for single-parent households)
Income tax-paying households: 2,500 yen (1,200 yen for single-parent households)

Application

Must register in advance at the service site and when using the service, go through the application procedure there.
