Aiko Kaikan, a welfare center for single parents and their children , provides a variety of services such as counseling, training courses, and skill development programs to single-parent families and widows/widowers to improve their psychological and economic independence, and help them live more fulfilling lives. This center also supports the employment and independence of single-parent families by providing occupational counseling, courses to train professionals (such as entry-level care staff, computer operators, bookkeepers, medical clerks, pharmaceutical clerks, care clerks, and cooks) and job information. In addition, job placement services are offered free of charge. |
