The City of Osaka respects the desires of disabled children and their parents or guardians concerning the schools they want to attend. They may attend regular elementary school. If the elementary school offers classes for children with special needs, they may enroll to attend the special classes. Challenged children may also attend elementary school at special schools including those for the sight or hearing impaired.
