Naniwa Sports Center, Indoor Pool and Ice Skating Rink were established so that citizens can participate in sports and recreation activities for their health, whenever they want, wherever they live and whoever they are. The Sports Center consists of the first gymnasium, which is for basketball, volleyball etc.; the second gymnasium, which is for judo, kendo etc.; and a multi-purpose room, which is for dance, aerobics etc. The Indoor Pool facilities include a heated pool with eight 25-meter lanes, a pool for small children, a massage pool and a training room equipped with various training machines. The Ice Skating Rink is an international standards indoor skating rink with the size of 60 meters by 30 meters, available throughout the year.
