• ”Cost of service Erefers to the amount of money needed to provide 1m ³ of water paid for by customers, calculated as follows:

  Total cost - revenues excluding water supply revenues
  Accounted-for water

• Rates per 1m ³ are calculated based on total volume used per month, as follows:

  Rate applicable to the amount of water consumed
  Volume consumed per month

• Rates do not include national or regional consumption taxes.

For households, rates are considerably lower than costs. In contrast, however, rates exceed costs for volumes of 100 m ³ or more per month.
