Map of Bunraku-related places

The Ningyō Jōruri Bunraku (Japanese puppet theatre) is a very popular traditional performing art founded in Osaka, and it is also a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Many interesting Bunraku-related places can be found throughout Osaka.

The “Map of Bunraku-related places” was created to introduce local areas of Osaka City that are often depicted in story settings of Bunraku plays. English and Chinese versions of this map are available for use.
