@This shrine is an ancient one which was written in the Engishiki (an ancient law code). Takemikazuchino-Mikoto and Oukuninushino-Mikoto are enshrined in the same shrine. The Nyoganji temple was a jinguji which belonged to the shrine to hold a service for Gods of this shrine. The temple is said to be founded by Syotokutaishi and reconstructed by Kobotaishi. The temple has a standing image of Shokannon founded in the last years of the Heian era and it is made of a jointless tree of genus zelkova, which is designated as the cultural asset of Osaka Prefecture.
