| @There are a lot of small ancient tombs estimated from 300 to 500 around the Nagahara district. The tombs were furnished with such burial mound figures as compared with those of tombs of high-ranked in spite of small scale. Especially in the second Takamawari ancient tomb which is a rounded one of around 21 meters in diameter encircled by a ditch, the largest clay image of a vessel was found, which is 128.5 meters in length, 26.5 meters in width, 36 meters in height and it was designated first among ruins excavated in Osaka City as the important cultural asset. Its scale of the clay image of a vessel leads us to think of full sized article of those days, which is about 15 meters in length, about 3 meters in width, 20`30 tons in weight, scores of men enough to be on board. It is worthy of notice that such a vessel is suitable enough to go abroad overseas and it is just days when 5 Kings of Wa were reigning and beginning to have connection with the Korea Peninsula and the Continent of China. | |||
