The site of Komachichaya
 The tea-house was situated on the west side of the southern end of the Oharaibashi bridge , which was crossing over the Hosoe River running through the Koshu Road . It survived in the middle of the Meiji era and was prosperous for travellers coming and going along the Road to have a rest at the site . A girl who was the draw at the house served with a teacup on a long ladle to keep out of mischief and became popular for this manner .
 
The site of Naniwaya Kasamatsu
  There was another tea - house called Naniwaya at the east side of the Road , situated around 50 meters away toward south from the Komachichaya and was prosperous for selling Anmochi ( rice cake filled with sweet bean paste ) .There were old, two big and small pines flourishing in their garden as if creeping over the ground . The pines resembled umbrellas . Those who came and went along the Road called them Kasamatsu and made it a rule to drop in to have a look at Kasamatsu The famous old pines perished at last in the 20 th year of Showa.
