@The site was reclaimed first by Kagaya Jinbei in the 2 nd year of Enkyo (1745) and later the reclamation works were made several times toward north .These private reclamation works stopped at the collapse of the Tokugawa shogunate ,but had yielded a large area corresponding to around one third of Osaka City . Kagaya newly reclaimed field club was founded in the 4 th year of Horeki (1754) and it has survived one of the famous landscape gardens in Osaka for its style of an artificial hill of Kobori Enshu and for its Sukiya style building named " Yuen ".@@
