[ Tezukayama ] by Nankai Railway about 100m to the west
The Uemachi table land was a birth place of the ancient culture , so some ancient tombs ought to have been situated around here . But only a few of them have been found . The tomb is one of them , which is a tomb , square at the front and rounded in the rear , well preserved comparatively . The square part of it is faced to the southwest and we may well have thought it encircled by a moat but we can not find a trace of such a thing . It was constructed from the last of the 4 th century to the first of the 5 th century . Tradition has it that it was Otomono Kanamura's tomb but is unknown .
