@ The shrine is another called Yamasaka Myojin or Tanabe Jinja and is originated from the era when Tanabenosukune worshipped his ancestor's God but it is unknown when it was founded .According to the historical record named Sendai Jitsuroku , we are able to find Tanabe Nishinokami and Tanabe Higashinokami in the 4 th year of Jokan (862) under the reign of the Emperor Seiwa The former is said to be this shrine and the latter is Nakai Jinja . The shrine had a ground of as many as 30,000 square meters by the record of land surveying in the 16 th year of Genroku (1703 ).
