Takaaijinja (Shrine)

	[ Takaai 4-chome ] by bus about 100m to the north

Susanono-Mikoto and others are enshrined in this shrine but it is unknown when the shrine was founded . There is a pond in the precincts. Legend has it that one day Sakekimi lost a hawk's whereabouts and was at a loss around the pond what to do . When he saw the water of the pond , he found the hawk was perching on a big chinquapin tree standing near the pond and caught the hawk with pleasure . �@
