 The site of Kuwazu extends from 3 meters to 6 meters at a slope of east side of the Uemachi table land . The site is complex historic sites from the Jomon to the medieval period .Historic remains of the former half of the middle of the Yayoi period were excavated by the construction of replanning of streets in the beginning term of the Showa era .
 Stone tools which were presumably used for spearheads in the beginning term of the Jomon era , a group of buildings in the Nara era and the oldest writing materials made of wood in Japan were found lately . Such stone tools were found that were used for martial instruments like spears , for stone axes to make wooden hoes and spades ,for flaying and sewing up animals, for a net-sinker .
