Susano-Mikoto and others are enshrined
in this shrine. It is situated , being digged
into the southern side of the Yamatogawa
river , in the southern end of Osaka City
It is said to be founded in the years of
the Daido era (806 -810 ) but unknown . The
precincts are broad and a lot of big trees
survive. It is said that the priest Gyoki
once lived here and gave great benefit to
the residents. A bridge called " Gyokioohashi
" crossing over the Yamatogawa river
in the neighborhood is derived from the legend
of Gyoki.
