| Applications Accepted for Admission to Municipal Kindergartens |
| No school districts are designated, so your child can enroll in any kindergarten as long as you live in Osaka City. In addition, if a vacancy is available, your child can enter a kindergarten in the middle of the semester. |

9:00 - 14:00 (Wednesday: 9:00–11:30)
(Kindergartens are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, summer/winter/spring vacations.)

Seeking Applications |
Enrollment for the following year (issuance and acceptance of application forms) will begin in October every year at individual kindergartens. However, applications will be accepted at any time in the event of vacancies. (The enrollment application and a document issued by a public agency with which your address can be confirmed are required.) |

Osaka City will transfer the operation of municipal kindergartens to the private sector based on the basic principles of the Civic Reform Plan.
Regarding private kindergartens and certified children’s homes, please ask the details directly to the kindergarten or children’s home that you want your child(ren) to enter, because admission guidelines differ among kindergartens and children homes. |
