The present new bridge was built in March 1974. Located at the north entrance to Taisho Ward where it witnesses a constant flow of cars. Though it is not common knowledge, the railings are a five-line musical score of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and the pedestrian lane a metronome and piano keyboard are inscribed. |
