Crosses the Kizu-gawa River along with black-headed gulls
Oshiai Shimo Watashi Ferry connecting Hirao 1-chome, Taisho Ward and Tsumori 2-chome, Nishinari Ward is used by many people commuting to work or school. Every year from the end of October to the end of April, 300 black-headed gulls can be seen crossing the river, making this ferry a favorite and nature poetry (fubutsu-shi) of ward residents. The river (Kizu-gawa) is 138m wide. |
