Outline of Consultation Service (相談内容)

In Osaka City, medical specialists provide comprehensive medical consultation services in order to help people with disabilities maintain their health, prevent development of secondary disabilities, and relieve them from anxieties so that they can live more pleasant lives.

• Specialties covered by the consultation service: orthopedics, internal medicine, and rehabilitation
• Eligibility: In principle, eligibility is granted to holders of 身体障がい者手帳 (Shintaishogaisha Techo or Identification Booklet for Person with Physical Disability) or 療育手帳 (Ryoiku Techo or Identification Booklet for a Person with an Intellectual Disability) who live in Osaka City; and individuals who care for people with disabilities.
• Fee: Free of charge
• How to apply: Please contact the Clinic Department of the Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities by telephone or fax and make an appointment.
