Consultations for children with disabilities

Outline of Consultation Service (相談内容)

Consultation and assessment services are offered on problems relating to growth, development and disability for pre-school infants who live in Osaka City and who have a disability or are suspected of having a developmental disorder. A medical diagnosis may be made to identify infants with a developmental disorder. In this case, the diagnosis is provided by a medical institution under the health insurance program, and a part of the cost of the diagnosis should be paid individually.

Date and Time of Consultations (相談日時)

Prior appointments are required for both the consultation and diagnosis. Please schedule a convenient time and date.
In principle, appointments can be made only through referral from a Public Health and Welfare Center in your local ward upon completion of either “consultation on development” or a “consultation on development of children aged 4 to 5” at the center. Therefore, first consult with the Public Health Department at your local Public Health and Welfare Center.
If you cannot consult with your local Public Health and Welfare Center, please contact the Clinic Department of Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities directly.
