Meal Delivery Service for Those in Need of Assistance

Osaka City delivers nutritionally well-balanced meals to the homes of elderly people who live alone or who have difficulties in preparing meals on their own, due to physical or mental disabilities. Personnel delivering these meals also check the conditions of the elderly people they visit, and if he/she noticed some abnormality, they contact relevant agencies to help them.
Eligibility (対象者)
People aged over 65 years old are certified as in need of support or long-term care and fall under any of the following categories:
- Elderly who live alone, or
- Elderly who live in elderly-only households
Fee (費用)
Up to 668 yen per meal
