The Osaka Municipal Museum of Oriental Ceramics

 A treasure house of Oriental ceramics, the old Ataka Collection, is stocked with some 1000 pieces of China and Korea ceramics.
 These were contributed by the Sumitomo group in the 57th year of Syowa and Osaka City constructed this museum.
 The museum is well devised to enjoy these items in a good atmosphere and facilities.
 The museum collection holds now about 2000 individual pieces, consisting mainly of Chinese, Korean and Japanese ceramics including 2 national assets and 13 important cultural assets of Japan.
 The Annex building was built in March,1999 in order to exhibit Japanese Ceramics collection and Rhee Byung Chaug Korean ceramics collection.
 In terms of both quality and quantity of pieces, the museum collection ranks as one of the finest in the world.
