Ebieyasaka Jinja (Shrine)
   4, 6-chome, ebie, Fukushima-ku
[ Nakaebie ] by bus, about 200m to the north
Susanoono-Mikoto is enshrined. You could easily judge how old the shrine was by looking at the lantern probably made in the era of Tenji(about 1125) or Taiji(about 1130).
It has a sword dedicated to the shrine by Oda Nobunaga in the first year of Genki(1570) who offered a prayer for victory of the battle against the Miyoshi family stationed at Noda Castle.
Toyagyoji is held which is an annual divine ceremony and is designated as the intangible folk material by Osaka Prefecture.
After the sunset, on the 15th of December the selected persons in charge of the divine ceremony who are under the protection of the shrine's deity (Miyaza) gather in Toya and make an offering what symbolizes 12 months harvest to the deity. This is a precious example of the divine ceremony that is rigidly handed down to posterity.
