Oda Nobunaga with an intention of unifying the whole country was confronting the Asai and Asakura allied forces in Hokuriku district, when the Miyoshi Family composed of three brothers took up arms against Nobunaga in Shikoku district and built the Noda Castle as a base.
Nobunaga came back over here in a hurry to face them at Tennouji and Ebie district(Osaka City), but he was obliged to retreat to Kyoto because of the additional rise in arms of Ishiyama Honganji Temple.
Later Nobunaga took up position here by one of his subordinates to attack the Temples.
Now we are not able to trace the remains where it was.
Only the local name of Aza reminds us of its whereabouts.
