Sekimejinja (Shrine)
    15, 5-chome, Seiiku, Joto-ku
[ Sekimetakadono ] by Tanimachi Line, about 200m to the southwest
 Susanono-Mikoto is enshrined.
It is unknown when the shrine was founded.
The origin of the shrine dates back to the time when Toyotomi Hideyoshi constructed the Osaka Castle and founded a small shrine to protect against "the demon's gate" of it.
Hideyoshi regarded this place as important to protect the castle, so he made the Kyokaido Road curve purposely around here which was called "Nanamagari", seven curves, to stop the marching of enemy troops.
We can see Nanamagari leave its traces around here.
