Seseraginomichi
Rivers and agricultural canals which had been running in all directions throughout the city ceased to be made use of with the development of land for housing and they were filled up one after another. Most of them change into roads now.
The big canal which was running in the southwest direction from the crossing of Ogiri 5-chome changes into Seseraginomichi (a road with a clean, little stream, 610m in length).
A little stream of 1.5〜2m wide is running from the north to the south and finally it runs into an agricultural canal at the end of the south.
We can find and elaborate idea being worked out around the stream.
The northern part of the stream of 360m is a Japanese style garden with rocks and stones and the southern part of it of 250km is a Western style garden covered with tiles. Now it becomes a place of relaxation for the citizens.
