| The order of the Ishiyama Honganji Temple had a branch castle there but it was defeated by a retainer of Oda Nobunaga (1534-1582) in the 3rd year of Tensho (1575). And Nobunaga told his subordinate Awa Niemon to recreate it in the 8th of the same year. The castle was abolished later in the unknown time. This monument stood in the site of Ohwada-Jutaku (Osaka municipal dwelling house) (Ohwada 5 chome), that was named "Shirogaito" which means the site of the inside of the castle. | |
