Project purpose
The project is intended to promote the citizens' health maintenance
and sport activities by providing a community-based sport
center and a heated pool as places where the citizens can
easily access to enjoy sports and recreational activities
and also can communicate with other citizens.

Each community sport center includes the following facilities
where the citizens can enjoy indoor sports:
- Gymnasium 1 (arena)

- Gymnasium 2 (judo/kendo practice halls)
judo, kendo
- Others

where the citizens can enjoy swimming throughout the
year:
(sample facilities)

Jacuzzi, heated room, studio, exercise gym, etc.
Future issues
The most significant issue for the project is to secure
its funding and construction site. With regard to
securing the construction site, it is necessary to
consider the effective use of city-owned properties
and/or the combined development with other public
facilities to advance the development.
Expected effect
By promoting sports among citizens, sport-related
events for the citizens will increase and will give
a favorable influence on sport-related industries.
It is also expected that providing working citizens
with a place for sports and recreational activities
will encourage their leisure activities and health
improvement, which will eventually lead to the promotion
of healthy economic activities.
