Development of Sport Facilities
Aiming to create the advanced urban environment that equally satisfies elements of living, working and entertaining, Osaka City is currently promoting various development plans based on its key ideas--comfort, attractiveness, vitality, creation and contribution. To establish itself as "Sports Paradise Osaka," the city has built a variety of sport facilities according to a systematic development plan, from community-based facilities such as community sport centers and heated pools to large-scale facilities that can accommodate national-level, world-level sport competitions, including Nagai Stadium and Osaka Pool.

Regarding the management of the city's large-scale sport facilities, including Nagai Stadium I and Osaka Municipal Central Gymnasium, the city will continue to discuss on a desirable management plan to maintain the favorable conditions of the facilities and to prolong their lifetime.
