“Easy Japanese” is Japanese that does not use difficult vocabulary or grammar.  It is said to be a Japanese (language) that is relatively easy even for people who are not very good with Japanese.

Ikuno ward is promoting the program “Let’s connect using “Easy Japanese”.

This program, which will work as a venue for people to connect, aims to have “easy Japanese” used by as many people as possible as a tool that will connect with people go beyond nationality and roots. When communicating with someone, language is not the only way.

Of course, it is not only Japanese.

However, there are many cases when language creates an opportunity for communication.

Residents of Ikuno ward know the true importance of communication.

At Ikuno ward, we have summarized our intent in conducting the “Let’s connect using “Easy Japanese”!!” in a “Letter of Intent” and we are giving this letter along with pin badges and stickers to people and shops who would like to cooperate with us.

Ikuno Ward’s Intent

In Ikuno ward, we already have a treasure of a rare history towards multicultural symbiosis.  It is our wish that Ikuno ward, where people from over 60 countries are residing, would create a new energy by respecting diversity, which hopefully would lead to building a rich town.  Also in our hope to spread our intent to the whole of Osaka and Japan, we have written our thoughts on a Letter of Intent.

”Let’s connect using “Easy Japanese”! !

Won’t you discover a new self and start a rich relationship?
