This crossing was established to replace Chitose Bridge, which was torn down during construction undertaken to develop an inner harbor in Taisho-ku as part of a project to promote the Port of Osaka. A ferry operates between Tsurumachi 3-chome and Kita-Okajima 2-chome in Taisho-ku.
  • 5-25 Kita-Okajima 2-chome, Taisho-ku: From Taisho Station (subway/JR), take the number 98, 98A, or 108 city bus to Shin-Chitose; walk southwest for 10 minutes
  • 1-69 Tsurumachi 3-chome, Taisho-ku: From Taisho Station (subway/JR), take a city bus bound for Tsurumachi 4-chome to Tsurumachi 4-chome; walk northeast for 5 minutes
