Kizugawa Ferry Landing
At Kizugawa Ferry Landing, a ferry operates between Funamachi 1-chome, Taisho-ku and Hirabayashikita 1-chome, Suminoe-ku. Although a car ferry capable of transporting passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks had been plying this route since December 1955, the car ferry service was discontinued when the Senbonmatsu-Ohashi Bridge opened upstream in 1974. Thereafter, only passengers and bicycles have been transported on this route. The terminal is currently managed and run by the Port Service Department of the Port & Harbor Bureau's Administration Division.
